Phil was diagnosed with Diabetes at the age of 16 which lead to his commitment on developing his knowledge to overcome his own health struggles, and as Phil says, it was love after the first rep and the rest is history. Phil then went on to pursue a degree in Nutrition at Queen’s University Belfast. After spending five years learning about human physiology, nutrition and food technology (food processing and manufacturing). Since then, Phil has completed many other professionally recognised qualifications such as a certified Sports Nutritionist with the International Society of Sports Nutrition and accredited for body composition assessment through The International Society for the Advancement of Kinanthropometry (ISAK).Fast forward to now and this lead Phil on to become on of the UK’s Leading Body Composition Coaches, Performance Nutritionist and Personal Trainer for the past 12 years. And above all, a down to Earth Gentleman ? More Recently Phil has moved into the Education space, Public Speaking Events, Author & Podcast Host which we dive all into during the podcast.
